KATMANDU, Nepal -- Ace Sherpa guide Pemba Dorjee scaled Mount Everest in a record 8 hours and 10 minutes Friday, beating the previous mark by more than 2 1/2 hours, Nepal's Mountaineering Department said.
The climb from the 17,380-foot base camp to the 29,035-foot summit usually takes about four days.
I could beat that bastard by a mile, but I don't really feel like it.

So the army finally went and made a video game to help recruiting? what is really going on here, every other video game out there already involves our army (battlefield vietnam being some of the latest). So they staged an "urban tactical assault" in downtown LA and basically raided the convention center at the surprise of shocked onlookers.
fact: I'd like to see this take place. But I don't like the Army making games to get more people to rush bullets in Iraq.

So after battling microsofts f*cked up software Internet Explorer I believe I have finally tamed the beast and all of my content appears on the screen. If you're a geek such as I you might want to read about microsofts inability to comply with the W3C standard in web design, thus the floating content problems dubbed the "peekaboo bug." This is largely due to the fact that they obviously won the browser war, because seriously when's the last time you went to a computer and chose to use netscape, opera, mozilla. you didn't, you used internet explorer. once again, microsoft sucks. Anyway, all is back in order. More to come.
